Recreation of Chuck Close’s Self Portrait
I thought I’d share another of “Bug’s” art work. She loves the artist Chuck Close and his work. As a project for school she was to paint a large ceiling tile of her choice. This was the piece she chose. The tile now hangs in her art room in the ceiling. I was hoping she would be able to bring it home, but the art was done specifically to decorate the school. At least we have photos right?? What do you think? Not bad for a 17 year old huh? I love her work, but as her mom I’m probably a wee bit partial
